Independent Visually Impaired Enterprisers Conference
(NOTE: New time for “IVIE Business Expo”)

IVIE is planning another exciting conference which will be of most interest to those who already have their own business or are thinking of that possibility. Our annual   “Business Networking Breakfast” and business meeting will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 7-8:15 am. It’s your opportunity to meet and share information with other business owners and learn from them, as well as handling our annual business. On Tuesday evening, IVIE members have been invited to participate in a mixer starting at 8 pm in the RSVA suite. Since some of our members are Randolph-Sheppard vendors, this will be an opportunity to mingle with those in the food service business arena.

On Wednesday, July 13, 2011, The IVIE Luncheon and Program will be held from 12:30-2:30 pm. We will have two unique panels. The first panel will be called “Networking Options That Work”  Panel members: Carla Hayes, Owner Lengua Learn Communications, McMurray, PA; Vickie G. Parker, MS. MFT, Marriage and Family Therapist, Woodland Hills, CA; and Ardis Bazyn, Inspirational speaker/business coach Bazyn Communications, Burbank, CA. The second panel will be “Business Opportunities Open to Blind Individuals”. Panel members: Loren Buntemeyer, owner Buntemeyer Piano Service, Lawrence, KS; Rob Cook, Owner & Cheif Representative, Navi-Tech LLC (tactile wayfinding product), Springfield, Oregon ; Palma V. Milliman, Senior beauty consultant, Mary Kay, Bowling Green, KY; and Jeannette E. Gerrard, network marketer with SFI (Strong Future International), Washington, DC.
On Thursday, July 14, 2011, The IVIE "Business Expo" will be held. Blind and visually impaired business owners will showcase their products and services and answer your questions. (No Charge for those visiting the booths). We hope to see you this summer.
